Women’s rugby is the fastest growing sport in the UK, so to keep up with this increased demand, Gilbert have designed a women’s range of specially designed clothing for the female player.
Training outside in the winter months can put a lot of pressure on the body therefore players require the highest quality clothing to aid performance and increase motivation to be the best they can be.
Gilbert have designed the Photon Training Trousers, specially tailored to the player, essential for training. The lightweight garment makes sure the player is not weighed down during drills and the water repellent finish helps keep them dry when the weather gets rough.
The breathable fabric ensures the player does not over heat and therefore makes them ideal for fast pace training sessions. The elasticated waistband provides security when players are making quick breaks and the half elasticated cuff increases warmth and ensures they do not get muddy.
When training outside, players may need to remove their outwear quickly and efficiently to not waste any time. The Photon Training Trousers are tailored to this specific requirement by having a side zip on each leg to make their shoes easily accessible.
The trousers are suitable for all levels of rugby and are available in sizes 8-18 in black or dark navy to coordinate well with any club or school kit.
