Permitted devices must carry the World Rugby Approved mark or a label showing the mark. This mark shows that the device has been independently tested and complies with the applicable performance specification.
Only devices with a World Rugby Approved mark and listed on the World Rugby website as being compliant can be used in matches.
If all instances of the mark or a label are removed from the device then it shouldn’t be considered compliant and can’t be used in matches.

Finding your fit: Measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears, then check the size chart on the product page. If you're between sizes, go for the smaller. Every model has an expandable lace closure - tighten it evenly until the headguard feels snug without pressing.

Is a scrum cap the same as a headguard? Yes – "scrum cap" is the traditional name, from when mainly forwards wore them.
Do you make junior sizes? Yes. Vapour, Air and Octane start from XSJ (extra small junior).
What should I know before buying? World Rugby approved headgear is designed to reduce the risk of cuts and abrasions only. It is not intended to prevent concussion or other head injuries.
