Gilbert Rugby extends partnership with Yorkshire RFU

Gilbert Rugby are proud to announce an extension to their partnership with Yorkshire RFU – which will see the brand continue to support the county with supply of match & training kit for the 2022-23 season.

After a detailed tendering process, the quality of product displayed over the previous contract term and service supplied via the webshop portal were key factors in Yorkshire’s decision to extend.

Barry Breakwell, said, ‘It’s great to once again tie up with Gilbert, one of the leading Rugby Union brands in the sport.  We look forward to another year of collaboration to deliver a strong quality image and product for our great County.

Luke Gray, Head of Sales, said, ‘We are delighted to have been selected by Yorkshire RFU to continue to supply their provision of match and training kit. At Gilbert we celebrate extensions with the same pride we do with new signings; long term partnerships are a testament to the values of the brand. We are excited to see a new collection come to life on and off the field, and we hope to engage with the local club network in Yorkshire by offering our premium products at affordable prices.’

Gilbert Rugby are celebrating their bicentenary in 2023 and have supply relationships with a host of unions, clubs, associations and players throughout the globe.

As well as providing kit to the county teams, Gilbert Rugby, in conjunction with Yorkshire RFU, are keen to support grassroots rugby in Yorkshire by offering heavily discounted products to clubs, schools and individuals in Yorkshire.

To celebrate the extension – Gilbert Rugby is offering all clubs in Yorkshire 40% OFF equipment products when they spend £750 - from market-leading rugby match and training balls to tackle equipment endorsed by England Rugby.
