Hosted once every four years, the Rugby World Cup is now the world’s 3rd largest sporting event after the Summer Olympics and the Football World Cup. This year, the competition will be hosted in Japan, the first time a RWC will be hosted in Asia.
The tournament will kick off at Tokyo Stadium in the heart of the country with the hosts taking on Russia in Pool A at 19:45 (11:45am GMT). Pool games will then take place at 12 different venues across Japan with the final on the 2nd November at the International Stadium Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama City.
This is set to be the biggest RWC in history.
