Gilbert Rugby News — Published on December 14 , 2015

Clifton College have been enjoying a tremendous year on the sports field in 2015.

The Bristol based school went unbeaten on the rugby field for the first time in almost 15 years, in their synonymous blue and white Gilbert hoops.

Their record of eight wins, two draws and no defeats left them as one of the most successful teams in the history of the school and ensured they picked up numerous trophies in games against Blundell's, Marlborough, Colston's and Sherborne.

In the new year the U15 side will look to continue their impressive form in Round 6 of the Natwest Schools Cup as they charge towards a day out at Twickenham for the Finals.

It is not just on the rugby field that the school is experience a rich vein of form. The Under 18 girls hockey side – which wears Grays hockey kit – are enjoying a tremendous season themselves.

Not only are they the Avon County Champions and the West Regional Champions but they are heading for the U18 national finals, where they will compete to be crowned as the number one school in the country.

Gilbert and Grays are very proud of our partnership with Clifton College and look forward to even more success in the future for all their sports teams.
