The Fijian Rugby Union (FRU) has entered into a long term partnership with GILBERT. This new agreement will see GILBERT be the exclusive ball supplier for all national representative teams and competitions in Fiji.
Radrodro Tabualevu, Fiji Rugby CEO, is delighted to be partnering with GILBERT. “GILBERT has been a great supporter of rugby in the Southern Hemisphere and the Pacific Islands for many years. I’m sure all rugby players throughout Fiji will be delighted with GILBERT’s appointment. GILBERT footballs are recognised as the best in the world and provide the players with a level of quality and consistency no other manufacturer can match”.
Richard Gray, GILBERT Sales & Marketing Manager, responded by saying “Everyone at GILBERT is delighted to be partnering with Fiji Rugby. We look forward to Fiji continuing their tradition of expansive play which I’m sure will be a highlight of the Rugby World Cup”.
Jon Clarke, GILBERT Brand Manager, added. “Fiji Rugby has produced some of the true greats of our game, and we are thrilled to ensure future Fijian superstars will be using GILBERT balls. Our new range of Fiji Rugby branded GILBERT balls will be available very soon”.
This agreement, in conjunction with GILBERT’s agreements with Rugby World Cup 2015 and the majority of the participating nations, reaffirms GILBERT’s position as the brand of choice in the world of Rugby Union.
