Bay of Plenty partners with Gilbert Rugby for balls

GILBERT is excited to announce a new partnership with the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union. This agreement will see GILBERT be the exclusive ball supplier for all rugby across the Union including representative, club and school.

Mike Rogers, Bay of Plenty Rugby Union CEO, is delighted to be entering a new long term partnership with GILBERT. “Our exciting new partnership with GILBERT represents our commitment to providing our players, from representative to community, the opportunity to play with the ball that is used at the highest level around the world. We encourage all our officiated clubs and schools to support our partnership by using GILBERT for all their ball requirements by taking advantage of the great deals this partnership offers our members”.

Jamie Weir, GILBERT Sales Manager, responded by saying, “We are thrilled to be partnering with such a well-known and respected Union as Bay of Plenty. GILBERT prides itself of making the best rugby balls available so to have another Provincial Union using our products is a wonderful result for all involved”.

This new agreement, in conjunction with GILBERT’s existing agreements with Rugby World Cup 2015, Super Rugby, Auckland Rugby Union, Canterbury Rugby Union, Waikato Rugby Union, Hawkes Bay Rugby Union, Southland Rugby Union, North Otago Rugby Union, King Country Rugby Union and Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union further confirms GILBERT’s position as the brand of choice in the world of Rugby Union.
