The RBS 6 Nations is in to Round 2, and the teams for the England v Italy clash on Saturday have been named.
Stuart Lancaster’s side is unchanged after the brilliant victory over Wales in Cardiff, and they will be firm favourites to make it two out of two this weekend.
Italy have made four changes to the starting XV that lost to Ireland in Rome. Veterans Marco Bortolami and Mauro Bergamasco are recalled along with Alberto De Marchi and Giovanbattista Venditti.
Gilbert Rugby will be represented in the clash by England hooker Dylan Hartley and Italian flanker Francesco Minto.
Hartley impressed against Wales last Friday despite missing an early line-out, and he helped the English pack dominate the 21-16 victory. He retains his place as England seek to maintain their 100% record in the competition heading in to the rest week.
Minto won his 6th Italian cap on his last visit to Twickenham back in March 2013. He was a replacement in the 18-11 defeat that day, but makes the jump to start two years later.
The 6ft 4in forward, who plays for Benetton Treviso in the Guinness Pro 12, has played 12 times for his country in total with two victories - both coming in the RBS 6 Nations.
Minto recently joined Team Gilbert and is set to play a leading role for his country in the remaining games in the competition and the forthcoming Rugby World Cup 2015. In fact, the 27th year old will be back at Twickenham later in the year when Italy take on France in RWC Pool C.
Will Hartley emerge from another Team Gilbert clash victorious, or can Francesco Minto and Italy pull off one of the biggest tournament shocks in history? Let us know your thoughts.
Dylan Hartley and Francesco Minto are Gilbert Rugby ambassadors.
