With the new Super Rugby season starting imminently, Gilbert Rugby has announced an extension of its ongoing partnership with the Western Force and Rugby WA. Gilbert will continue as the official and exclusive supplier of balls and equipment across all representative levels of WA Rugby for three further years.

Western Force will be entering their 10th Super Rugby campaign next weekend, starting with a trip to Sydney to take on the Waratahs on 15th February. Their first home game comes two weeks later (27th Feb) against the Hurricanes (NZ).

Rugby WA CEO, Mark Sinderberry, said “Gilbert is a globally recognised brand and one that’s synonymous with rugby. We’re proud to be celebrating our 10th season in Super Rugby in 2015, and we’re pleased to have been able to share each year of the past decade with Gilbert. Players from across Western Australia – from our juniors and local club players through to the Western Force – have grown up playing with a Gilbert, and we’re very pleased to see the partnership extend for a further three years”.

GILBERT Brand Manager, Jon Clarke, said "We are thrilled to be extending our partnership with the Western Force and Rugby WA into our tenth consecutive year. The fact that the Force have chosen to reappoint Gilbert as their exclusive equipment supplier is a testament to the performance of our products which includes tackle bags, hit shields and post pads. We look forward to seeing another record breaking season for the Force in 2015."

This partnership, in conjunction with Gilbert’s agreements with Rugby World Cup 2015, Australian Rugby Union, SANZAR, Waratahs, Rebels, Reds and Brumbies further confirms Gilbert’s position as the brand of choice in the world of Rugby Union.
