Gilbert schools make progress in Cup competitions

Gilbert Rugby News — Published on February 2 , 2015

There was cup success for two of Gilbert Rugby’s partner schools in their respective competitions recently.

Warwick School claimed a victory to reach the last eight of the Under 15 NatWest Cup. They were too strong for Langley School and ran riot in a 59-7 win. They will have to travel for their quarter final match, with Wellington College or Canford School still to decide who goes through between them.

Felsted School reached the quarter finals of the NatWest Cup Under 15 Vase with a fine victory. They overcame London Oratory School 20-7 thanks to a brilliant performance in the second half, having been 7-0 down after 40 minutes of action. A long trip now awaits the boys after they were drawn away to Royal Grammar School, Newcastle.

We’ll be keeping up with both schools as they look to make it to the semi-finals, so keep checking back for their progress.
