Gilbert is proud to unveil the official ball for Men's Rugby World Cup 2027. A tournament set to break records in one of the biggest sporting nations – Australia.

Following the immense success of Rugby World Cup France 2023, the 2027 edition carries a powerful ambition: to amplify the global energy of rugby, inject new momentum into the men’s game, and celebrate a nation defined by light, diversity, and dynamism.

The RWC 2027 ball is more than a piece of equipment – it's a symbol. A blend of natural inspiration, cultural homage, and advanced engineering, designed to perform at the highest level while honoring the host nation’s identity.

The official Men's RWC 2027 ball design is inspired by the natural beauty of Australia’s iconic land, sea and sky.

Three distinctive design areas on the ball to represent the entirety of Australia.

LAND: featured patterns depict hills, country and coastline

SEA: designed to represent both saltwater and freshwater

SKY: symbols signify the sun, stars and wind

The Land, Sea and Sky pattern for Rugby World Cup 2027 is an exclusive piece of artwork that is inspired by the natural beauty of Australia's iconic land, sea and sky.

The design has been created exclusively for World Rugby by an indigenous art, design and communications agency who are verified through Supply Nation - Australia's leading database of Indigenous businesses.

The tapestry uses a range of First Nations artistic styles and textures from across the country to ensure the design is representative of the entirety of Australia.
