| General Info: | Daniel joined Glasgow from Eastern Suburbs in Sydney. Since his first season, he has been the first choice stand-off for Glasgow, and quickly made his first start for the national side in the Six Nations 2005, and has been an established member of the squad ever since. Dan settled quickly into his role at Glasgow, winning several Man of the Match awards in both the Celtic League and Heineken Cup, and becoming popular with the home support. During the season, Dan reached - and passed - the landmark of 750 points for Glasgow Warriors. He has now scored 773 points in total - this includes 223 scored in season 2006/07 alone. He is the third highest points scorer in the Magners League, behind only David Humphreys (Ulster) and Gavin Henson (Ospreys). An Australian U21 international, Dan played for a short spell at Leeds Tykes and made a good impression on the Leeds fans. Dan qualifies to play for Scotland through his Scottish grandfather and Dan most recently represented Scotland at the 2007 Rugby World Cup. | |
