Portugal sign with Gilbert

Ricardo Nunes Vice – President of the Portuguese Rugby Federation said : “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Gilbert. Gilbert’s balls have been used in Portugal for a long time and we have always appreciated their outstanding quality. ”
Sales and Marketing Director at Gilbert Rugby, Richard Gray, said “We are delighted to be renewing our agreement with Rugby Portugal and to continue working together to develop the game in Portugal. The fact that their players prefer the Gilbert ball was a major factor in the decision-making process and we wish the team every success in progressing up the world rankings”.
Gilbert, the official ball for the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups, supplies balls for; amongst many others: Argentina, Australia, The Barbarians, Canada, England, France, Ireland, Namibia, Samoa, Scotland, South Africa, USA, Super Rugby, the LNR and The Aviva Premiership. The Gilbert ball is widely regarded as the number one choice of professional players world-wide.
Current Portuguese captain, Gonçalo Uva, passes Gilbert ball to Miguel Morais in an European Nations Cup match against Romania.
