The French Rugby Federation has signed a new long-term contract with Gilbert Rugby as their official and exclusive ball supplier.

Pierre Camou, FFR President commented: “The French Rugby Union is very proud to announce its long-term renewal of the partnership with Gilbert. I am delighted to emphasize that this new agreement involves not only the French national teams, but also the development of the game by the FFR at all levels – such as the clubs, rugby academies and beach rugby. Our global partnership with Gilbert draws its strength both from the quality of the products and the trust that has built up over many years between the FFR and Gilbert.”

Sales and Marketing Director at Gilbert Rugby, Richard Gray, said “France had an excellent world cup campaign culminating in a strong performance in the final and we were very proud to be associated with the team and also their inspirational captain, Thierry Dusautoir. The fact that the FFR have chosen to continue to use the Gilbert ball is a testament to the performance of the product and the fact that the players prefer the Gilbert ball. We are now looking forward to continuing our excellent relationship and helping the Union develop the game; with an increased investment in the exciting Sevens, Beach and Womens rugby arenas. We would like to wish all these teams every success for the future”.
