The Gilbert Virtuo match ball will be used throughout the tournament and is the latest in a succession of Gilbert balls to be chosen for use at the pinnacle of world rugby - Barbarian (1995), Revolution (1999), Xact (2003) and Synergie (2007) have all been the Official Ball to previous tournaments.
